You can now download my debut single “Colours” from my website, and shortly from the iTunes store (we’re currently having some technical difficulties with Apple).

The single includes the B-side “Love and a Hard Place”, and both songs feature Jack Purbrick and Luke Parfitt of No Room for Giants on Drums and Bass respectively with Jamie Travis on lead guitar, and Colours has Mr.Robert Storey, also of No Room for Giants, on keys.

So, the time has come at last for the release of my debut single, Colours.

Hey Everyone,

On the evening of Thursday the 5th of April come on down to The Cellar, the stunning music venue below the World’s End pub on King’s Road Chelsea for an evening of entertainment from yours truly, Charlie Law, Si Connelly and Scarletta. It’s a lovely place with great food and drink (awesome mojitos!) and entry is only £5, so no need to break the bank in these troubled times!

On Friday 27th January, Benedict Gibbon played at Imprint Festival, the creative brainchild of Francesca Goodwin, director of The Fabelist art collective.

The Fabelist is an group of incredibly talented artists, actors, film makers, writers and musicians with the a mission statement of creating work that ignores boundaries. Its members include both established professionals and young up-and-comers who work together to develop their talents, documenting the processes behind their projects on their blog.

The Imprint festival was a showcase of the collective’s September-December 2011 project, and featured a number of intriguing exhibits including ‘I Say Imprint’, a short film from 18 year old director Sarah Stewart, and live spoken word recitals with improvised music.
