Benedict Gibbon is a singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Brentwood, England.

He began playing the guitar at the age of 11 and has been writing songs ever since, influenced by a range of artists like Radiohead, The Smiths, Paul Weller and The Beatles. He started playing live in London in 2010, starting off in intimate venues like the famous Troubadour Club in Earl’s Court but quickly progressing to play support slots for major artists including Klaxons, Hot Chip and Primal Scream.

In late 2011, work began on his Debut EP, Colours. It includes contributions from guitarist Jamie Travis as well as Luke Parfitt and Jack Purbrick of the London indie sensation No Room for Giants. It is currently expected to be released in the Summer of 2012.
